RUGS & TEXTILES

A room doesn't need a rug—after all you already have a floor. And yet, most spaces feel cold and naked without them. It is Nader Bolour, the owner of the iconic rug gallery Doris Leslie Blau in New York, who so perfectly articulated why rugs are so necessary,"They are the soul of a room, all the other elements of a well-appointed space are there to celebrate it.”

Jennifer's Design Tip: When selecting the main rug for a room, make sure that's a big enough to support the furniture that will rest upon it. Otherwise, the whole room will feel off.  When a rug is too small for the space, it starts to resemble a postage stamp.
